I woke up to a Wonderful Day,
I woke up to a power failure,
and cat fur a flying.
No power meant no ☕️! 😞
I went to my 🚘 to go and buy coffee,
my car was buried under four feet of snow,
and the car battery was dead 😹
Oh, what a wonderful day!
No coffee!
No Power!
No car!
Did I mention no ☕️☕️☕️?
With cat fur still flying,
I went to feed the four-legged monsters,
Yup, you guessed it, No Cat Food!
Oh, what a wonderful day!
I went back to bed in case this was just a bad dream,
I awoke to No coffee!
No Power!
No car!
And No Cat Food!
Called a cab to go buy Coffee,
and Cat Food.
The cab arrived and wanted cash upfront.
Yup, you guessed it,
My wallet was empty!
No 💰💰 nada, zip, nothing!
Tried to use a 💳, but declined,
said goodbye to the 🚕,
as the driver left, he said a few nice words🤬
Oh, what a wonderful day!
Turned on a gas burner on my stove,
put a pan with water in it.
When the 💧 boiled, I added some instant coffee,
poured the concoction into a coffee ☕️.
The mug was filled halfway,
so I filled the mug the rest of the way with Dark Rum.🥃
I drank the coffee
and fell fast asleep in my chair.
I awoke to a White Christmas 🎄
Oh, what a wonderful day!
